Working Through the Grief

So it has been one whole week since we put Sandy down. Like any good woman, you can't hold a good one down for long, and Sandy was one good woman dog. I have managed to channel my grief and give Sandy a "voice" through my writing. I have composed a poem about having a dog cross over to the rainbow bridge.
