The ordeal

Its been a long ordeal for my niece who is recovering from brain surgery. She suffered for a great many years with Chiari Malformation. Some of you who watch Extreme HomeMakeover on ABC may have caught the episode where a house was redone for a woman involved with Chiari Malformation. At any rate, my niece elected to have the surgery (an excellent choice) to relieve her pain. She has come through the surgery fine and is now home recuperating. I met my sister-in-law, another niece and this one in the hospital early that morning. I wanted to give moral support and a shoulder to lean on. Its a tough thing to do to see you child walk off to surgery. I've done it myself and its no walk in the park. At any rate, that is where my thoughts and prayers have been. Maybe anyone reading this blog can say a prayer for her too. I believe in angels and the power of prayer. Pain killers are a wonderful thing too!
well it wouldn't be me if I didn't pass at least one wise remark.
Love to all.
